Linda McQuaig—award-winning investigative journalist and author of eight national bestsellers—will share some of her perspectives and experiences with the Women’s Caucus, including ideas from her new book:Cancelling Billionaires, Before They Cancel Us: The Urgent Case for a Wealth Tax. She’ll discuss journalism, activism and public leadership, and reflect on the role of women in politics and public leadership today.
As always, there will be lots of time to ask questions, exchange ideas, and engage directly.
CC’s women’s caucus is a supportive network for women and gender-diverse local elected leaders across Canada who are advancing climate policy in their communities, providing a place for connection, mentorship, inspiration, and practical support. Meetings are monthly on the third Tuesday at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET, starting January 20, 2026.
