Explore how municipalities across Atlantic provinces are using climate data to make more informed decisions for resilient communities.
How can climate data and data-analysis tools help communities to make better-informed decisions around climate change impacts? Sabine Dietz, Executive Director of CLIMAtlantic and former Councillor for Sackville, will share how municipalities can reduce climate risks and the role of elected officials in advancing adaptation.
Sabine will highlight CLIMAtlantic’s tools and resources, including the Coastal Adaptation Toolkit, and how they can support your community’s adaptation planning. There will also be time for questions and group discussion on planning strategies.
This Chapter is facilitated by Councillor Adam Baden-Clay and open to current and former local elected leaders who are members of Climate Caucus.
