This session will introduce a data-driven model that enables municipalities to implement self-financing retrofits by leveraging private capital, reducing upfront costs and accelerating project delivery.

Learn how project management, procurement, and engineering expertise can be combined with private equity to self-finance capital projects, helping to reduce upfront costs and accelerate implementation. 

Speaker bio:

Dean is the President & CEO of Saskatchewan-based Greenwave Innovations, which he founded in 2017. He is the visionary behind Greenwave’s data-driven energy and asset management solutions for building owners and operators. Dean’s perspective and dedication to the energy conservation sector have led to his participation at countless provincial, national and international energy conservation and climate events. Prior to founding Greenwave, Dean led a successful electrical entrepreneurial venture and held senior leadership positions in the telecom industry completing assignments in China, Australia, Israel, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and throughout North America.

Dean is very proud to call Saskatchewan and Canada home where he raises his 3 boys alongside his wife Terri.
